YouTube videos and podcasts often use US measurement units for testosterone levels - ng/dl for total testosterone and pg/ml for free testosterone.

To convert total testosterone from ng/dl to nmol/L, just divide the number by 28.85.
For free testosterone, to go from pg/ml to pmol/L, divide by 0.2885.

So when someone quotes the total testosterone as 900ng/dl, I divide it by 30 (close enough to 28.85) to give me a rough figure of 30 nmol/L.

Remember, these conversions are specific to testosterone because of its unique molar mass.
